You can permanently delete your Joy Mates account from the app or request deletion without opening the app.
Delete immediately in the app
- Open Joy Mates.
- Select Profile.
- Select Delete my account.
- Read and confirm both deletion prompts.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the recovery email associated with your account. Include your player display name and write “Delete my Joy Mates account.” We may request limited information needed to verify ownership.
What is deleted
The active account, display name and profile, recovery email, authentication factors, generated avatar selections, inventory, friends, clubs, progress, notification token and eligible tournament entries are deleted or disconnected from you.
What may remain
Auditable coin-ledger entries and messages already delivered to another player may remain under a de-identified identifier for accounting integrity, fraud prevention and the other player’s conversation history. Moderation, security and legal records may be retained only as reasonably necessary.
Deletion is permanent. Remaining virtual coins, inventory, progress, rankings and access to the account cannot be restored after completion.
